once again its sunday.. 1st week of school had past.. lixian went back to singapore.. damn.. i was starting to get used to a female presence in the house... i miss my bff.. aww.. today is make magna pretty day.. as termed by xiaoying.. and magna really really look good.. shiny.. hahhaa....

drats forgotten my library books again.. =(.. just managed to renew them.. hopefully i wont face the penalties.. went to the museum today.. cool.. dinosaurs, slight natural history of qld and brisbane... stuffed animals.. oh and early motor mobiles.. such as their aeroplanes and dunno fire brigade.. lol.. their history was interesting.. especially e part on sea cucumbers.. which are known as teatfish... and the Ahs brothers - ah sam and ah leong who worked for the watson's family who owns a sea cucumber exporting company?! i like their description of the exhibition pieces too.. with the aussie humour.. and easy to understand.. lol.. lik driving me nuts by killing her throat.. so i will log off and she can use the comp.. bye!

i'm back! after being mia for so long.. well more like after i obtained my atrocious results.. i went into emo state.. and "avoided" everyone.. but hey i'm back to a new school year! right.. from where i left off in auckland.. snowboarding is fun.. too bad i din board much cos my dear sister and bro-inlaw returned their boards and were waiting for me so we can go on our "scenic" tour up the mt raupehu.. which was not a really good idea cos e snow machine were blowing at us.. freezing us in process... didnt do much in nz after tt... went to watch narnia.. and played kung fu panda on jessie's ps3.. yes she got herself a ps3.. wth.. came back on sunday.. rot a few days before my dear housemates flew off to melbourne.. leaving me home alone.. =(.. than lik arrived!! yeah!! went to mt coot-tha and chinatown.. finally i saw mt coot-tha in e daytime.. quite sian to see night scene all e time.. haha.. went to e mt coot-tha botanical gardens too.. sat went to west end and south bank market... before we proceeded to roma street parklands for the days of diocese's heart of the city event for wyd... one word: WOW! i mean.. the whole street were filled with catholic pilgrims frm all over e world.. and of course we decided to butt in on e way to e parklands.. haha.. a sure way to get there.. hahaha.. i failed my flags of the world.. there were so many islanders.. watched e international performances.. i came to this conclusion: non ang mohs countries like to dance.. i mean for e cultural part.. e ang mohs usually sings.. except this french performance.. where ey danced and sang.. so cool lah.. e mountain side.. lol.. met up wif jiayue later for dinner and after dinner drink.. jagerbomb!! haha.. sunday brought lik to church.. unfortunately.. e choir was on break.. therefore no bcb n acb.. =(.. didnt manage to show lik who they are... sigh.. wanted to go watch broncos.. BUT e ticket office was closed and we couldn't find the one in southbank.. in the end we headed home and nuar.. typical.. haha... monday went to gold coast.. harbourtown and surfer's paradise.. more shopping! yeah! haha.. tuesday went up to deception bay.. well i was deceived.. hahaha... and we headed down to redcliff.. well it was more successful this time compared to e last time i tried to get there with val.. lol... wednesday.. we went city again.. haha.. met up with jia.. did more shopping... haha.. and i went to sj's farewell bbq.. i missed her already... hiaz.. cldn't sent her off.. thurs flew to sydney and met up wif jon n gen n cecilia.. haha.. and of course go for WYD!! pilgrims were everywhere!! and ya.. my backpackers were quite alright.. pilgrims were a fun lot.. singing dancing and waving.. haha.. of course the streets were crowded and roads closed and public transport were packed.. haha.. the pope made his official appearance on thurs.. which result in e centre closing for awhile to watch e pope LIVE on tv... which delayed me getting my pilgrim passport.. haha.. went to chinatown after tt.. man i love their chinatown.. more homey feel den the kns one here in brisbane... really.. there's even shops that sells jap/korean stuffs.. food and i dunno what... jon is right.. if you miss home.. go chinatown.. haha.. walked around e city with gen and cecilia too.. taking many detours in e process.. thanks to e road blocks.. haha.. friday went to bondi beach! it was filled with pilgrims.. haha.. headed down to sydney fish market after tt.. well... i was hoping to see a wet market but NO... it was not.. went down to paddy after tt.. man i love tt place.. shopper paradise.. bought a bag.. haha.. damn.. ooh and e fresh produce part of e market.. really feel like home.. just like a market in singapore.. hahaha.. mainly asians.. hmm.. is it because it is beside chinatown?? hmm... sat lik n i set out on our journey to randwick racecourse.. it was a 9.2km walk... cool huh?? there were many pilgrims all over the world with us.. 250k pilgrims.. quite surprising.. to see many catholics around.. when most churches are empty thanks to the youths.. ya.. especially in europe.. yet i see many european flags.. especially italy and germany.. canada were everywhere too.. lastly islanders have a pretty huge contingent too.. esp samoa and toga.. again my flags of the world need improvement.. haha.. e food ey provided us were miserable.. no wonder e food queues were long.. not tt there was much to offer in cup noodles.. but better den eating tuna rolls and biscuits.. for breakfast lunch and dinner.. e sun was out.. and there were no clouds.. for e day.. however after vigil.. which was awesome.. the clouds came and temperature plumaged... the moon after vigil was beautiful.. full moon with a "halo" surrounding it.. formed by the clouds.. in a perfect circle.. amazing and magnificent.. unfortunately i couldnt manage to take the view.. must be e vigil.. haha.. or so i think.. e weather was so cold tt even 4 layers of clothes and coat were not enough.. didnt help tt our sleeping bags were not thermal.. cold man.. of course there were plenty of eye candies around... i had a spanish n lik had an aussie i think.. lol.. hot spanish.. lol.. i even took a pic.. wahaha.. sunday was e mass.. there were 24 lucky confirmants.. tt were confirmed by e pope!! LUCKY!! and benedicto (tt's wat e italians call him.. and everyone else) annouced tt madrid will host e next wyd.. with tt annoucement.. e spainards in front of me erupted in to a huge cheer.. along with e spainards everywhere... i sorta pity e italians in my pod.. ey were surrounded by 2 grp of spainards.. hahaha... oh well.. i look fwd to 2011.. haha... madrid didnt get 2012 olympics.. but 2011 wyd will definetly bring in more crowd...
