this is so childish... some unreasonable person decided not to see reason (and claiming that's she is very understanding) and is pissed off at us.. and ranted.. of course she tried to paint herself as an angel and we as the devil.. not working.. as she contradicted herself in more ways than one.. tried to pull the pity card (whether it is intentional or not, i have no idea) but it made me more mad as it made the pity card sound so materialistic... i guess i was not the only one that was super pissed off that we ended up boycotting.. when i said i will think about it, high chance was i'll share as i have no time to get a present on my own.. then you get pissed off at me and send me an sms, "scolding" me.. hey you gave me an option in the 1st place and i DID NOT say no! so after the sms i was considering NOT to share.. then you sent us the email.. which was the final straw.. no way am i sharing with you.. we may end up paying close to what we would be paying if we shared.. but hey.. you made us so mad that we refused to share with you.. call us bitches and lousy friends if you want.. at least i did not tweet and broadcast the "fight"... i believe that i shall be a better person than you and stop playing this childish game.. we are already in our adulthood.. no longer in school.. you hate us so be it.. will i feel sad of losing this friendship? yes since we knew each other for so long... but if you continue to be so unreasonable, i will say good riddance...

the inaugural YOG has finally come to an end... and i can only say i'm very very impressed with singapore.. 1st being a host country and being able to deliver the games successfully in 2.5 years; 2nd for the impressive opening ceremony (now you know where all the ndp budget went); and last but not least, on the performance of our young athletes. for many of them this is their maiden international experience and yet we managed to clinch 7 medals, 2 silver and 5 bronze. not only did we WIN some medals, we also managed to qualify for quarter finals and semi finals and even finals for some events.. which to me is not an easy task considering we are up against sporting powerhouses. it could be also due to home ground advantage BUT it is still a wonderful feeling to see singaporean athletes come so far in their events and to see the flag being flown.. we may not have our anthem played in any of the events but seeing the flag flown and being able to qualify and participate, to me is more than enough... once again great job!

once again i sort of forced myself to update my blog.. guess you can say i'm getting lazy.. enough with the procrastinations... Singapore had turned 45 last monday (9th august) which i spent my day playing bowling with church people and feasting before watching the parade (sadly i caught it on tv.. sigh..) so much for patriotism.. haha.. BUT! i wore red.. as i usually do for national day.. speaking of red, my cousin jarryl was quite funny.. went over to his place on national day and i happened to be wearing the same shirt as his girlfriend (who was in the room). he saw me, went to the room, brought his girlfriend out just to say we wearing same shirt.. lol.. i was kinda tickled by it.. haha.. after the long weekend festivities (consisting of xy's wedding lunch on saturday, boardgames galore with the legion folks on sunday and the national day celebrations itself) nothing much happened during the week.. untill friday, august 13.. the day where the pineapples stayed at MBS for xh's birthday.. notable celebration.. the 2nd time i got freaking high by alcohol.. on the exact same day 2 years ago for yw's 21st birthday party.. haha.. anyway it was very memorable probably because when we all came down from our alcohol induced highness, and tried to sleep, there was a drunken drama (or more like throwing up drama) where the dear birthday girl puke her guts out and the more sober people (which is the rest of us) had to looked after her and well.. guess we leveled up in terms of friendship.. haha.. =D
