I personally thinks that the Rabbit year is a pretty good year for us Rabbits, at least on the romance part. Just look at my dear Pineapples - there are 5 of us, 1 got engaged; another is already bidding for house and seemed to have worked out their kinks; and last but not least, 1 recently got ATTACHED!! Just left 2 of us singles out there. Hopefully, our wishes from our 孔明灯 comes true. All five of us did wished something on love in a way. From the singles' camp, where we had a collective wish for everyone, Huiru's wish is now considered fulfilled (CONGRATS BABE, SO HAPPY FOR U!!), so it is just left with Xun Bin and me. The year is not over yet, so gambate to the both of us.. Hopefully, soon we'll be able to have a 5 couples outings, where we'll force our men to socialise with each other while we do our girls stuff.. hahahaha...

It had been a week since I went to Kukup. I know, I'm slow in updating the blog. The Pineapples first overseas trip together, maybe we should make it a yearly affair. Lol. Anyway, the trip cost us a total of $850, or supposedly $85/pax for 10. However, finding the 10 people is hard, hence we paid $106.25 per person. There was the 5 of us, plus the 2 boyfriends and 1 other friend. Journey to Kukup from Singapore was relatively fast, about 1.5hours excluding the jams at the immigration customs, be it traffic or humans.. Chalet stayed: Pee Song Shan; and we arrived in time for a home cooked lunch, which was very nice! However, the bias part of me still feel that my grandmother's soup is nicer. Haha.. I was pretty much impressed with the place, especially the part where there is HOT WATER for showering. I was actually prepared for cold shower or scooping water from the pail. LOL. I underestimated the facilities. It was a really relaxing place and nothing much to do I guess, except playing mahjong (MJ) the whole day (and sing karaoke). We the pineapples also took the opportunity to celebrate Huiru's birthday, with a cake (I liased with the staff to help get the cake for me, which was worth my 50Rm. =D) and fireworks/sparkles/炮. Of course we cannot forget the sky lanterns. We bought 3 lanterns and the two couples had 1 each and the remaining 4 single ladies shared the last 1. 3 guesses for what we wished for. Haha. The boyfriends were funny. Seowhui and Alex were up first. Since we didn't bring a pen/marker out, we all ended up saying our wishes - not sure if it will work but just for the fun of it.. Anyway while the rest of us were trying to light up the solid fuel, (we were quite stupid for a bunch of degree holders, seeing that we were trying to light up the wire holding the solid fuel thinking it was the wick, and not reading the instructions stated on the bag till I got "fed up") Alex wished to earn plenty of money. When it was Kahpeng and Heng Leaun's (HL) turn, HL said he wants to earn more than Alex since Alex kept saying "我要赚很多很多的钱" hahah.. After the lanterns, we moved on the the fireworks stuff, it was quite hilarious seeing us lighting the fuse and running away. More like running for our lives and we had them caught on video. Blackmail materials I tell you. All good things had to come to an end, and before we knew it, we were eating our last meal in Kukup and were on our way back to Singapore, back to work on Monday. A short but fun getaway indeed.
